It’s currently my plan to review at least two books per week (my average rate of absorption) on this blog, primarily because it’s fun, but also to stack a bit of cake on affiliate commissions. Though I will only review books I liked at least well enough to read through to the end, I am writing reviews, not commercials, and each book will be rated using a five-star scale, a precise scientific measure of my enthusiasm and how rad I thought it was. Despite being an unrepentant junky who could get off, in a pinch, reading the dictionary, I will endeavor to be a discerning critic, letting you know what I liked and what I objected to in a given book, and why.
If you find a review helpful, please leave a comment; if you find a review helpless, likewise let me know how you think it can be helped, or if you think it utterly beyond help. My standards of literary excellence may not be yours, but if you catch me typing any factual inaccuracies, don’t hesitate to smack my wrist and point them out.
Happy reading and cuídate!
