As I just discovered nearly a month after the fact, there’s a reason Posthuman Blues hasn’t been updating.
Nick just called to tell me that our friend and colleague Mac Tonnies was found in his apartment this (Thursday) afternoon, apparently dead of natural causes. There was no evidence of foul play or suicide according to a close friend.

His heart, apparently, was the culprit. Anomaly TeleVision has a bunch of links, and there are many tributes, such as this. Didn’t know it ’till now, but Tonnies wrote a bunch of punchy book reviews. His new book The Cryptoterrestrials will still be released by Anomalist Books.
While I didn’t know the dude, his work certainly inspired me. Check it out.
